TPMS Flashing

My tpms light started flashing and then went solid today on my 07. I checked all of the tires including the spare and all had 32 psi. I had new brakes put on yesterday, is there something that could have been bumped or screwed up by the shop that did the work?

It means at least one of your sensors is not communicating with your tpms. Could be a bad sensor. Discount tire repaired one for me 12 dollars said and done.

A solid TPMS Warning Lamp indicates a tire pressure related fault (i.e. low pressure), a flashing TPMS Warning Lamp indicates a fault in the system (usually it flashes for a minute or two after start-up and then goes solid); such a fault is typically due to a failed/damaged TPMS sensor, but basically means a communication fault is detected.

damn thats cheap - mine is currently flashing as well - last 2 tire places I asked, said 100

I ignore mine and check TP the old fashioned way. I'm sure it's my spare that's low but I'm not crawling under the truck to check. Am I a bad person?

Just bypass the like and check your tire pressure the old fashion way. I have bypassed mine and not once have I thought or felt that I shouldn't have.

Lol I hope not mine was on for like a good year until I asked the guys at discount to check it

So while driving, my TPMS light started flashing randomly. It was off at start up and never went solid - for 3 hours on a road trip.

I read on another thread to lower the air pressure tire by tire to 25 PSI, see if the light turns solid. Next, air the tire back up to pressure. Back to flashing: move to next tire. If it never turns solid, there's your problem.

For the above steps, on one tire, the light went solid at 25 PSI, and then the TPMS light turned off the light when back at normal pressure. But 20 miles down the road, it started flashing again.

Haven't had my tires mounted anytime recently (40K ago).
