Hiya crew,
I had my new TRD black wheels with BFG KO2's put on yesterday, and decided to have my tire guy put in programmable TPMS sensors, so I wouldn't have to keep going back to him should I want to switch them out.
After he mounted them yesterday, he said his "smart key wouldn't let him wake up the sensors, and that i'll have to go to the dealer". I'm sure that he put in NAPA brand TPMS sensors, and I probably should've just had him switch out the OEM sensors and put them into the new wheels, but why make things easier, right?
Anyone here try to do the same that I did? Should I stick with OEM sensors?
Thanks
