Yesterday, my TPMS light came on, and as I was near a Les Schwab Tire Center, I stopped and had the tires checked--spare was low-only a couple of lbs off spec.
Anyway, The guy said "hit the reset button and the monitor would go out". We looked, and we could not find any button. He said it was down by the gas flap and hood release. Wasn't there.
Just curious--Mine is an '09. Is this something Toyota changed?, or was he confusing the my T4R with something else. He also said the Toyota was the only vehicle with a TPMS sensor in the spare. The light went out after a few seconds when started up, so all is well.
