Trac control in 4wd

So southern Ohio recently got about 8 inches (and counting)of snow and I engaged 4wd a few times. Some spots were worse than others but deff not bad enough for 4lo. Several times during my trips I disengaged trac control only to see it re engaged it self. Does anybody know if there is a series of buttons to push to keep it disengaged without engaging 4lo? 16 TEP kdss

i believe is shuts off when you go over 35mph.
