Traction controll kill joy

What is the best way to disable the tractioncontroll in my 02 4r when I'm,off road. Because when I'm in the mud or water I wanna be able to spin my tire s without the truck limiting my fun. But when I'm on pavement I want to have it. What's the best way to disable it temporarily while off road

Someone needs to search more. A quick look at the stickies or search would give you many links.

Here is a video showing the detail. Its a great easy mod, you can even turn the switch back on and turn the key off and off quickly to reactivate while driving.

I think it would be best to keep it on on dirt from what I've seen, I went wheeling with a lifted 4th gen a few weeks ago and it actually seemed to help him quite a bit in the rocks, although not as much as my e-locker helped me. He did way better than a similarly lifted 2013 Taco did with the traction control disabled. You could see it work while he drove up obstacles.

We however did not encounter any mud either so I can see your point on that.

I'm going to play devils advocate, a lot of the times I get ideas from someone posting something that has already been talked about. Sometimes I don't even know what my next project is until someone else posts something that is interesting. I agree there are threads that are talked to death, but self control and the urge to click is the key to a happy forum life. :yo:
