Anyone interested in trading a Hood w/ Scoop for a Hood w/o Scoop? Mine is Blizzard Pearl.

I know its a snowball chance in hell, but maybe I'd hit the lottery...

Just want to make sure that you realize that there is no such thing as a 5th gen BP hood with scoop...unless you buy it from Toyota (or someone else) and paint it.

Damn....is BP not a color for the Trail Edition. Trust me, if I could of afforded the TE I would of. I'd throw a black hood on my BP.

What about TE "Fender Flares"....anyone selling those cheap?

No sir...BP was not a color option for the TE. This is why you will notice members like Jangoforhire and 1-2 others buying the TE trim to create the storm trooper look.

Not trying to burst your bubble, but it is extremely unlikely you will find any trim pieces from members. Haven't seen one TE to SR5/Limited conversion....and that would be the only scenario you would find any of the TE trim for sale.

I am contemplating buying the hood here 2011 TOYOTA 4RUNNER Hood and doing a plasti-dip or matte black vinyl wrap on it. I think you still have to buy the scoop and hardware, but total cost all said and done would be less than $500 probably

I don't know the parts list or the cost off the top of my head. Check out Jangoforhire's build thread and/or Harper7. They both have an all inclusive parts list and how-to write-ups. Also, either one of those guys can answer anymore specific questions you may have about the parts and/or process

Search Harper7 for the list of parts to convert a limited or SR5 to TE exterior look.

I almost went this route, but decided to upgrade to the 12 TE from the 11 SR5.

yeah you got a few things going against you there...color is not even the biggest one...the flares are the ugliest thing on the trail in my opinion...why didnt you just get a trail edition? you should just sell and get a trail or trade it in...
