That just gives your T4R Trail a little character....no need to replace the bumper cause of it! I hope that you will return to that OHV and not be gun shy when I get out to DFW.
 
I would try to pop it out, and in good humor, put a large band-aid over it. Glad you got out and had fun! The countdown is on for the summit...
 
I'm impressed your wheeling such an expensive ride. I wheel my third gen moderately hard but I only paid 4500 for it with 2500 in mods on top of that. You've got a bigger pair than me.

Yea, many people think I'm a little outside the box as well. But I buy these vehicles as DD's and also to have fun with. I must admit however, that this is the first trail damage I have ever had. Trees and brush on the paint have always been on my vehicles, but never before have I had any damage like this. I was thinking of taking a heat gun to try and heat this a little to allow me to try and get it to pop back out. We will see how it works. I will post up pics if it helps.

Dont worry bro, I cant wait to get back there. The problem is I was by myself and so I didn't know what trails were calm and what trails were too rugged for me. I don't think I ever veered off onto any blacks, but I did get on some orange trails. Looking forward to getting my skids and bumper from Shrockworks.

Try using a big crowbar up there before heating it! I popped a huge dent out of my sister's Subaru that way. It was literally the size of a football. It came out perfect, except for some cracks in the paint. Your dent isn't painted, so you should have some good results. Good luck buddy!
 
My son and I were going off road last week in Tucson az. I was in my lifted 4runner and him in a lifted Jeep Wrangler. We came across a fairly rough rutted rocky hill and there was a stock height Trail edition 4runner waiting for us to get through the section. We watched him go across the rocks and heard some major scrapping from the Trail 4runner. We were grinning ear to ear watching that guy get his first trail damage. I bet he will not go back there again without a lift.
 
I totally agree with that. Although mine is lifted and was more stupidity on my part than anything else. Just wasn't paying attention, and didn't check my camera.

It is very easy to do. I smashed my tailpipe real bad one time trying to turn around on a tight trail.
 
I got my first trail damage at Bridgeport too. Passengers side rear bumper. That's why I got the OL rear bumper. If you want someone to go out there with you next time give me a shout.
 
Speaking of expensive rides 4 wheeling I went to Crabtree Falls last Saturday with a buddy in his 2012 Rubicon Wrangler and me in 2011 SR5... I heard several comments like now those are shiny vehicles...

No major bumps or bruises, but did drag the hitch a few times... Pics to come soon

I'd like to head out there sometime in the next several weeks. Let me know if you're interested in going back there.
