Trail Edition 7 Spoke Wheels

I bought two sets of 17" FJ Cruiser wheels for $200 and $250 respectively. One set had 5 wheels and 4 center caps, the other set had tires but only 2 caps. I sold the 4 leftover wheels for $180 because they were a little beat up. Got two good tires on one of the sets, and I bought two new Tires for around $380

Can you use the stock lug nuts for these wheels ( trail edition) or do you need new ones? I bought a set, currently looking for tires for them. I have an 01 Limited 4x4 with stock 16" wheels. If new lugs are needed, which ones?

They use the shank style lugs (flat seat with washer). Your stock lugs will work unless you had factory steel wheels, those came with cone-seat lugs.

stock lugs work fine. I actually ordered a new set of 2016 4runner OEM lugs cause mine looked like crap from the years of winter weather.

I just got these wheels, they look amazing. Went with 265/70/17 Cooper ATW A/T tires and they are awesome. No rubbing. The only thing I have to do now is get a new spare to match the size since this new combo is about an inch taller overall than the oem wheels/tires.

LOL, saw your sig and realized you have them too. I was all about getting black TRD wheels instead, until I saw these. They look even better in person and I paid about half of what the TRD wheels would have been. They actually fixed a small vibration I had in the steering wheel with my old setup as well.

Does anyone have these 5th gen Trail Edition Wheels on their 3rd gen? I love the look of them and only found one picture so far. I was really stuck on staying with 16" wheels, but love these enough to switch to 17's. Please post any pics of 3rd gens with them. Thanks!
