Trail Edition Find

Funny, That dealership is 10 minutes from my house. Looking for a 4th gen but that is definately out of my price range.
What years were the 4th gen trail editions?

Those rims are ugly.

X2 on that.

I understand how when a specific model/version is produced in small quantities for only 1 model-year, theyre going to be scarce and therefore (usually) worth more coin....but i gotta admit that I am just NOT impressed with this one. It looks "plain jane" to me.

Guess it's just not my cup of tea.

Yea would need some coin put into it to make it to my likeing
Yeah, like these, my favorite 4g's I've seen online. Common theme is that it's obvious I dislike the look of the 4g frontend, heh. Problem solved by Shrockworks, etc.:

SICK:

It was extremely difficult to find any V8 runner in 09. Total production of runners was down in 09 so you could say any truck from that year is rare. Mileage seems average to me if the truck is 3 years old. As for price, I wouldn't pay that much for the truck but the 4th gens seem to hold their vale quite well.

In the US, if a 4th gen doesn't have the 4WD badge, it is not 4WD. In Canada, all 4th gens are 4WD so there is no badging. Must have been a truck from Canada!!

What is the difference between the XSP and trail edition??

Those are FJ wheels and I wasn't a fan of them either. Fortunately they were very easy to sell and we all know how inexpensive DS lifts are. IIRC, the TE package was actually a screaming deal in 2009, something like a $2500 option on SR5's. Compare that with the nearly $40k TEs today and it's a beast.

You can also see the water proof seats, probably one of my favorite features. I do wish they offered the TE in a V8 but for what it can do versus other vehicles on the market, it's a beast.
