Got a new iPhone 7 Plus the other day and wanted to test out the camera. Here are the 4xInnovations sliders installed. Don't rag on me too hard, the paint looks like shit. I need to touch them up plus I need to hit the bare metal on the frame still. It's been 105 degrees + the past week, so my motivation level has been in the basement.
Right now the truck has too much rake for my liking, and not only that but when I get a bumper it'll be even worse.

So I thought I was pretty dead set on getting an ARB bumper, but I am doing my due diligence and considering other options. The only thing though is that the ARB is definitely the biggest bang for your buck considering it's price point and it already comes painted. Here's what I have it narrowed down to:
ARB:
Pros: Price point. $850 shipped and it already comes painted. I live in an apartment complex, so I have nowhere to paint a bumper. Also it's looks. I love the classic lines on this.
Cons: Pretty common front bumper, and it's heavy.
4xInnovations:
Pros: Once again, price. Roughly the same price shipped as the ARB. Styling as well.
Cons: I HATE that you can see the mounting points on this. Also, it has to be painted.
RPM Fab:
Pros: They are a local company, so this means I can pick it up and not pay shipping.
Cons: Once again, I'd either have to paint it or pay $200 to have it powdercoated. Price is steep too, $900 plus $200 for powdercoat. I also despise the tiny turn signals.
Anybody that can sway me in one direction or the other?

No all-pro bumper? Out of your choice I'd go RPM. You could always ask the turn signals be bumped out for the 2" standard ones you can get just about anywhere.
I'm going rear bumper first. RPM is nice cause you can do dual swing outs. And it's not a tube bumper like savage. And cheaper than shrockworks and CBI.

The All Pro is too expensive for my blood once you factor in powdercoat and shipping. It'd be close to $1500 to get it with the hoop I want, powdercoated and shipped.
That said, I've all but decided on the RPM bumper. Nate who owns the truck in the photo I posted showed up at our AZ 4Runner meet last night and I got to check it out. Great looking bumper. I am however going to have them delete the turn signals and make the hoop slightly taller.

I really really like Addicted's bumper too, but I think I'm going to go with the RPM bumper to stay local.

no shipping to fuss with and that added expense is good (plus having to deal with the possibility of them not delivering to residential addresses). I wish I could make it to a meet. Always at work :-/

Ordered up a few things in recent days. RPM utilizes Jeep JK foglights for their bumpers, so I picked up a set of JK LED foglights. I also have been very disappointed in the LED lightbar I installed a month back, turns out it only has an output of 7200 lumens, something they neglected to list in the ad.... But I guess what do I expect for a $30 eBay item. So I bought another $30 eBay bar! This one is 42000 lumens (supposedly).
And then there's another trim packer and a front spacer to even out the driver's side rake I have going on.

Today brought some boring maintenance stuff. I did another trans drain & refill, along with throw another trim packer on the driver's side rear spring. I now have two 10mm trim packers on the drivers side and one on the passenger side. Also wired up the front for the LED foglights that will go on with the new bumper.
I did the turn signal mod the other day too since I ordered my bumper without turn signals.
Next up on the docket for maintenance is transfer case and front & rear diff fluid change. I have no idea if it's ever been done, so I'm going to do it for good measure. I also will be replacing the drain and fill plugs on the rear diff at the same time, they're both quite rusty.

Apparently my credit card has been burning a hole in my pocket recently.
Just placed an order for a steel RCI front skid plate. My stock one is pretty much toast. It has a rust hole in the bottom of it, and two of the three front mounting bolts are sheared off in the nut. The RCI skid has 5 mounting points up front which should solve that issue. It also is made to fit with a diff drop.
