trailer build help

Hey guys, i picked up a small 4x4 trailer today for practically free. Now i know nothing about trailers. I am looking at only achieving two things.. a higher stance and larger tires. The axle as it stands has two small 4 bolt wheels (i am guessing 8" rims). I am curious as to what my options are, i'd prefer to do things cheap as the trailer won't be used often and will only hold about 200 pounds. The axle springs have already been flipped and is still fairly low. Lifting blocks seem a little overpriced are there other options available or home made remedies? As for the wheels, i am guessing i can only go so big on a small axle as the bearings might not like it. Can i put an adapter on it to manage different bolt patter/larger wheels? Would i be better searching for a car axle to swap out? Are there cheap options for new leaf springs which will give me the lift (looking for probably close to 4-6"..), thanks for any guidance guys.

I wish i had a photo and some measurements but i had to leave it at a friends and will be grabbing it tomorrow.
