Trailer Hitch Question

Just bought my first 4runner and love it. That being said, I have a question....

Where do you guys put the trailer hitch "arm" when you are not using it? My old pathfinder had a place for it in the back cargo area, but I can't find a place for this one. I would leave it in the garage, but I live in an area where you never know when you will need to tow and I don't want to be without. I also don't want to leave it in the hitch because I am in out of the back for work everyday.

Just looking for suggestions.

I leave mine in the garage. If I did carry it with me I would wrap it in a towel and place it in the rear compartment, the one in the back right side.

The rear compartment in the cargo area on the passenger's side has nylon straps that you can use to hold the hitch in place. If you leave it in the box it came in, it fits perfectly in there and can be secured with the straps.

You wouldn't want that thing flying around in the event of an accident.

I think I don't have have that compartment because of the subwoofer. CAn you have both?

If you have the sub, you won't have the compartment on the right. I put mine in the same compartment with the jack on the left, wrapped in a towel.

I leave mine on as it keeps the idiot tailgaters around here away from my back bumper.
