Trailer plug hookup bracket

It's a ridiculous thing to concern myself with... but I'm asking anyway...

Has anyone replaced the metal bracket for the trailer plug harness hookup?

I was recently looking under the back end due to an accident repair of the bumper (other person did not quite stop <sigh>, again). And that piece looks bolted on. Mine is especially rusted & nasty looking, not sure I could even remove it, but it looks like it might deteriorate before the rest of my 4R. Just something to keep me up at night thinking about.

Mental health professional service might be the way to go. :-(

I got one from c4fabrication for $20 shipped (edit.. I did buy this in 2021 so prices could have changed). They don't list it on their website but if you email them, they'll sell it to you individually. It's a relocation bracket that will tuck it up and away under the bumper.

i used a victory 4x4 relocation bracket to tuck mine way up.

they sell it separately too.
