1998 White SR5 2WD----------------SOLD May 2012


CURRENT: 1996 SR5 4WD Sunfire Red


Well..been on here for a year now, so finally got around to making one of these things. My 4runner was a mainly base SR5, so lots of room for improvement.

I took the running boards off so fast I don't even have a picture with them. Got it with 102k miles.


Well first thing first, had to get rid of those small tires!! Thanks to Fonerunner for the awesome hook up on my new wheel and tire combo. I have to say this mod got me really started on improving the Runner.

Then decided the wheels needed to be black

About the same time, got a Rola Rack.


Then clear corners and turns were added.

Things were going good, but still missing a lift....


Then came the 1.5 Daystar, college budget...lot of traveling, so I couldnt go too big. But I like it for what it is!



Blacked out the bumpers with plasti-dip.


LED's!



Had a junkyard day and got some SR5 fender flares and a old school Toyota emblem. $40 bucks! not too shabby.

I toyed around with the Satoshi Grill mod..so got started with the emblem.

Satoshi was underway!


Finished product.


Parked next to a friends sick 1st gen.


Finally got the flares plasti dipped and installed! Have wanted those for a long time..


The back was begging for LED tails, so that came next. Went with the Depo ones and have been very pleased.

Interior LED's..SO BRIGHT


So I acquired a set of 99 tall coils and painted them red for kicks bascially, and got some new Rancho shocks for the rear! Got a little more rear height out of it, which is what I really wanted.

Moving on to something a lot more recent, as many mods as ive done, I have just now got around to doing the deckplate mod this past week. Its great, helps a lot.



More small stuff, added a Maglite mount in my trunk, very handy.


Also, bedlined my rocker panels, used Rustoleum spray on truck bed coating.


Fixed the nasty front fender flare gap too

Where'd you get those amber LED corner bulbs from?
They look good I'm looking for something like that and that might just be the bulb i'm looking for haha.

anything negative about them at all? Or do they do a good job hahah

No complaints from me, they are way bright and the output on them is great, the best choice for clear corners IMO.
