Trails near Ft. Collins,CO?

I'll be in Ft. Collins Labor Day week visiting my son and DIL; will there be any trails accessible to a stock LE with stock 20"s? My wife has never seen the Rockies, so I would like to get as good a view as we can get without getting into trouble. Any suggestions are appreciated, I am also bringing my road bike and my MTB, but being a flatlander, I'm a little skeptical about riding canyon rims close to the edge.

The road biking will be great, some mtn bike trails could still be wet up in the mtns but most front range trails will be fine. For off-loading you might consider Charles wells guide to northern Colorado. I have it but not in font of me now, I'm south of Denver so all my riding is down here and off-roading mostly southern mountains. Happy to chat more about riding or I can look up off-road routes if no one north of Denver chimes in. We have had a lot of snow this year so some high mountains may have snow well into June this year. Getting up to Estes and rocky mtn national park would be good even if no offroading and it's close to ft Collins.

I'm in Fort Collins and there are plenty of beautiful trails offering great views with easy to very difficult terrain. Most of the trails are accessed driving up the poudre canyon (hwy 14) which is scenic by itself.

Worst case scenario head to Estes Park and drive around Rocky Mountain National Park. Gorgeous and paved.
