Tranny cooler and service

I need to get my transmission fluid flushed but i also want to do the B&M external tranny cooler mod. Milkshakes are good but not when your truck makes them... so would it be better to do the mod before or after i get the transmission fluid flushed? or does it matter at all?

I don't think it would matter. If you do it after your cooler will see nothing but new fluid, a plus I guess if your fluid now is horrid.

If you do it before you wouldn't need to worry about the little bit that spills out since you could just take it in for the flush and let them worry about getting the level right.

2 coolers, 3/4"x11"x9"

I just performed an engine replacement and due to the fact I'm planning to tow heavy loads, I decided to install a second cooler. Last summer I observed temps approaching 210D therefore, I decided I needed it. Now towing, the highest I've seen is 190, but its not usually over 165.
