Probably gunna get one here soon just because I don't have one and might as well have one with these 35's

Install seems pretty straight forward, should be able to do it without many tools right? (at college)... mount it up, cut the hoses and splice it back in correctly no ?

Thanks

Yes. Most aftermarket cooler kits are simple. The hardest part for you is the "pick" where to mount it up. Pick some place that gets clear access to wind. I believe the v8 cooler is mounted in front of the main radiator.

Finally getting a tranny cooler huh? I remember you saying you didn't need one even with 35's! How's your foot tasting? Just giving you sh!t dude!

lol its all good I think it was over the v6 guy having one and the v8 did lol

Anyone know if you can just bolt in a v8 trans cooler to the v6 and run new lines?

Have you looked at the price? Unless you can get it for free or used just go aftermarket. I looked into this and the v8 cooler is well into the 300 dollar range.

I mounted mine vertically to a crossmember in front of the radiator with 2 self tapping screws. It was very easy

There are several threads, write-ups, and pictures from others who've done it somewhere on here.

would you need to add additional fluid or is that not enough to worry about for a normal-sized tranny cooler ?
