Tranny(or sensor) issue

Hey gang, I have a '96 3.0l 4runner that currently is having an intermittent issue under acceleration from a stop. I can floor it at a light, the engine revs but the truck barely moves for maybe ten seconds 'till the tranny catches up? with the engine and accelerates.

Any ideas? No codes are being thrown and I'm totally baffled. Thanks in advance for any help!
