Transfer case gaskets ?

I have searched, but only found part #'s for a 4th Gen.

I need the part #'s for the filler plug and drain plug gaskets on a 2010 4R, SR5, 4x4 ?

I gave the dealer this picture today and said "I need these parts." lol


It's the bag that has 2 pieces in it (same washer for drain/fill).
I just got mine today and the dealer said they revised the part number for them. They can cross reference it for you.

Yep, I almost never follow the replace on each change... BS. Unless there is a visual inspection issue.

Just because a repair manual states something does not meant it is a good idea. I've seen some incredibly crushed washers that still function just fine...

I'll bet 99% of dealer techs would also re-use. Although they might still charge for it.

For a couple bucks for new drain plug gaskets why even risk it? Just replace them with new ones and don’t risk having a leak and then having to drain everything again, replace the o-ring, and refill. It’s like $1 & change per so I don’t get why one would reuse them, but to each their own.

Old thread, but yes, changing the washers ain't a bad idea.
Bought a bunch in bulk for the engine, diffs and t-case.

Why risk what? Transfer case will never leak from the plugs. Eventually the input seal or the output seal will start leaking. Mine started leaking at about 330K miles on our 2014 SR5. I pulled the transfer case and replaced the input seal and the seal on the transmission while I was in there. Never replaced the washers under the plugs. Have always used Mobil Delvac 75w90. I’m doing everything wrong and I have more miles on this vehicle than anyone here.

Lol that was my pic. I’m still using Delvac though. Gotta do the transfer case and front diff in the next few weeks. My interval for these is 45k, and 30k for the rear diff.
