However, I snapped a pan bolt trying to get it off, so I determined it wasn't worth it, and just did the drain and fill instead. My pan is now held on with one less bolt.

I've done similar thing reinstalling water pump while changing timing belt on a Rav4, 4cyl, should have translated torque spec to inch pounds and use that torque wrench instead of trying to do it in ft lbs, just too much leverage. Easing the anxiety, after removing the pump again the remaining half of the bolt backed out very easy after the head was broke off.

What I'd say, when you take your pan/gasket off completely, there should be enough bolt left to get a hold of and back out. Of course, bring it to a shop and have them do it if your not sure.

I just did a search after getting my results back and found this thread, thanks posting up your results guys, I made a thread here and I was a bit worried TBH, but your results all look similar to mine. (High copper, and iron)

304K on original WS

going to send mine in and see what the results show, should be interesting as it's never been drained or at least no record of it. Carfax and Toyota National have numerous service records, but nothing other than oil changes and diff fluid drain and fills.

That will be an interesting report. Looking forward to see what they say about 304k without a change.
