Transmission not shifting out of Park

I just completed the Tundra Brake Upgrade, bleed the brakes and topped off the master cylinder. Now the trans won't come out of Park. I checked and made sure all 3 brake lights are working. I check what I thought was the switch, does this look right? That's with the brake pedal depressed. I've heard about the trailer wiring harness, but haven't read how to check/fox that.

Does it come out of park when you push in the small white manual-release plastic button on the base of the trans shifter?

Also do the brake lights come on when you press in the brake?

If I use the override button it will come out of park. All 3 tail lights are working.

Bump: doing some research and haven't seen this addressed, if the brake switch is going bad/is bad will the tail lights still work?

Nether one answered my question. If the it's the brake switch will the brake lights still work?
