Before I bought mine, I looked at getting one from out of state. The plan was to buy a one-way ticket and drive it back. Any way you could swing that? (obvious question, but worth asking).
Sometimes, by flying at off-hours (other than 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM), avoiding business travelers, or by flying to a lesser-used airport, you can get a decent airfare. You just need to search the internet to see what you can get.
Plus, you're in control of how it gets to you -- that would have been important to me. And your truck is broken in by the time you get home.
