Travis' 06 SR5 4WD build thread!

Your truck looks great. Also, great shots in your most recent post. A 4runner with some Texas scenery always makes for a good subject. I notice you list your location as College Station. Are you an Ag? I don't recall ever seeing any cool 4runners around town while I was in school there.

Thanks man! yep I'm an aggie, just moved there in august.

I am looking at getting some 16 inch wheels and wanted to ask a question. Since the factory wheels are 17 did you have to trim any of the rotor protector thing so the smaller diameter wheels would fit?

Nope i didnt modify my brakes at all. I dont have the bigger brake package though, i'm not sure which 4runners have them but i know some cant fit 16" wheels.

KingGeorge if your calipers have WH embossed on them then you need at least 17" wheels to clear your rotor and dust cover combo. WH means you have the larger front rotors (same calipers but they have longer stand-off brackets to clear the larger 331mm rotor). If you have WG or WL you can fit 16" wheels (as you have the smaller 318mm rotors) is what my research revealed when shopping for wheels last year.
Tyzorz , sorry I know this is your build thread and nice truck!

Hey, nice truck. Do you have any pictures of the light throw from your SpecD's? High and low beams? Thinking about getting a set for myself :decision:

Here's the low beams. High beams are reflectors so it's the same as stock ones.

Went to the 4wheelparts grand opening at their new store on 1960 and won a $100 gift card and spent that on some rear facing lightbars.

I know this is a noob question but I am going to ask anyway. I just bought an 03 runner (coming from a lifted xterra) and I want to stuff 33s in. With your lift and bumper did you modify anything at all?
