I have been racing offroad R/C for a while. I started off in Production Monster Truck with a 2.5 Revo, which eventually was modded into the longer 3.3 Revo. Here are some shots of the different set ups and lids i had painted.
I had to sit out a while towards the end of my wife's pregnancy and birth of our twins. For the first race back i had painted a special scheme....lol
When the Electric Revo was released i switched to it instead of the nitro. The nitro was nothing compared to the brushless.
Even ran a 1/16 E-Revo during the winter at some indoor tracks.
About the time the Production MT class was dieing off, Short Course just taking off so i switched to it and 1/10 truck.
I had a short stint with 1/10 4WD buggy before i got to the point of not having the time to do it any more.
On an impulse buy i got a 1/24 Losi Trail Trekker to play around with in the house. I made a custom trail body out of a model kit.
Luckily i am still involved with R/C since one of my clients is an aftermarket manufacturer of tires, wheel, bodies and some other stuff. It is a great hobby but can be extremely expensive.

Erevos are the shiitt
they are durable as hell compared to the emaxx that i used to own..
and yea everyone always asks me that why i went electric over nitro, i just tell them.. technology... ever since brushless, nitro is now considered old school.. HAHA i mean nitro is still badass but just cant beat the maintenance free of the brushless and the "free reusable power" of batteries compared to buying nitro all the time.

well update to why i havent had any sunday trail videos.. my transmitter is still at the hobby store or traxxas getting upgraded through warranty and i was told it would take about 10 days... and its been over 2 weeks now..
Called them today and now they said oh its going to take a month. ASNJFNUAWBUIA
so yes for now i have this video for your entertainment HAHA

I also have a Summit 1/10, I've had toy RCs in the past, but nothing like this before, tons of fun. Have done a few upgrades: aluminum push rods, tighter springs, LED lightbar, dusty motors cover, 7600mah lipos...

RC car's my previous world before my 4runner. Good times. I could have had 2 4Runners with the amount of money I spent on them. lol

You aren't kidding. I got my tires, wheels, shocks and springs from just selling about 1/4 of my stuff....lol

Awesome! I want a Summit but I can't justify the $$. Hopefully pick up the Trail Honcho soon. Have a Traxxas Slash 4x4 that I've beat the ever-living crap out of,and somehow haven't broke anything.....yet. With the brushless and a 3s Lipo the dang thing is almost uncontrollable!
