it is of high quality made, but i don't know about the gain. i gained growling sound, that is.

I noticed a nice gain, especially torque. My tire spin on take off much more now.

And a big sound difference, stomp the throttle and my TRD CAI and Magnaflow roars, lol my wife complains about it all the time.

I don't have the TRD but i do have the K&N, i have the same thing happen to me until traction control kicks in, the fun ends

Are you seeing an increase in miles per gallon as well? I know with my FJ Cruiser it averaged about 10% more if I din't get on it. If it is the same on the T4R I may have to invest in one again

I thought people were getting the TRD/CAI for under $300- Has anyone seen it cheaper than $325? Also, is that part number correct for my 2005 2wd/v6?

AFE CAI

I believe AFE makes the CAI for TRD. They now have out an oil free filter called the Pro Dry S, for this CAIit can be cleaned with soap n water. I just ordered the OEM replacement Pro Dry S filter, that just came out too. Here is the link to the CAI with new filter(same as TRD).

i get about 1-2mpg if driven conservatively, but you know, cant help it, gotta hear that growl more often.

It baffles me how people actually believe the HP rating they advertise.

I talked to one guy who bought one and said it made 50 HP. I asked what Dyno did he test it on .....end of conversation.

You MAY get a little better throttle response or MAY get a very slight increase in mpg at best.

I've tested many of these on a Dyno , with a forced induction car and non forced induction car. ( not a 4R ) Mustangs actually.

Gains were good on a supercharged car with a full system. Induction & exhaust.

Gains were barley seen on a regular induction vehicle.

IMO don't waste your money.
