TRD Pro Catback Exhaust....thoughts?

Hi all, I found a good deal on a TRD Pro exhaust, so I was wondering if anyone out there had one installed on their 5th gen, preferably a 2010-2013 TE. I'm looking for reviews on ease of installation, as far as a bolt on replacement goes, as well as any video or sounds clips to the TRD Pro exhaust itself. Mahalo nui in advance!

Congrats on finding a unicorn! I'm pretty sure whatever you found will not fit on your ride.

Id like to know what you found also. From my knowledge Toyota didn't put a different exhaust on the T4R Pro, but did on either the Tacoma or the Tundra. So I am guessing it will not fit....Please link whatever you found.

I guess that should've been my first question.... Anywho, here's the link I was referring to TRD - PRO EXHAUST

Also, thanks for the quick replies!

Looks like he replaced the exhaust on his Pro and is selling the stock exhaust. That is the same catback that is on every 4runner. It is nothing special.

I had no idea.... Just my luck! Thanks for your help, Bevo! I guess this is a case closed then

Also, seem parts of his description is just "a little" misleading!

The TRD cat-back exhaust delivers the increased power you want, adding a distinctive edge to your driving experience. Made from stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance and featuring a TRD-logo-etched tip, the unique cat-back design features a side exit to maximize departure angle, allowing for a less restrictive exhaust path--providing an impressive combination of increased horsepower and a deep, throaty growl that meets the legal 95-decibel noise limit.
• Stainless steel, cat-back exhaust design with TRD-logo-etched tip
• Allows for a less restrictive path, helping reduce backpressure for added low- to mid-range torque, along with improved horsepower (between 5 to 8 wheel horsepower, depending upon application)
• Produces a deep, throaty tone while meeting the legal 95-decibel noise limit, as required by law

URD Spec Exhaust

There is only one exhaust that I have seen to add HP is the URD Spec exhaust. It's dyno proven to add low end TQ and upper rpm HP. Search for member Formidable's thread on it and look at the dyno graphs. I wouldn't waste my money on any other system, just my opinion.

Not that you can make the UPS Truck roar sound even remotely interesting on the 4L V6, why wouldn't what is mechanically the same damn truck not work with an exhaust from a different model?

The sound is annoying.
