I’ve got a 2019 Pro and I wouldn’t be able to distinguish the noisy shock from the noise the rig makes from beating it up pretty good on trails. There are so many pages on this topic that I didn’t read so I hope the noise is really a “cosmetic” thing and it doesn’t mean the shock will fail early or perform worse. Also, why not wait longer to get it repaired so you get fresh shocks before the warranty is up?
Main reason for me is I want to do the eibach lift once they confirm what works for the new shocks. Its really only there a few months out of the year so it makes timing for warranty work a little tricky, and during the really cold months its pretty annoying on such an expensive vehicle. The shock performance has been great but being that its a known issue with a fix almost makes it more apparent and all the more annoying in my mind.
