Trd pro lift question

I don't know if I am supposed to want to see bigger tires on these trucks; but, I gotta say, I think I like it with the stockers on there.

It was pretty straight forward...I knew what needed to be done, but sometimes getting it done was difficult and took a while. An extra set of hands will help!

I like the Trail Grapplers as well....I added the BFG KO2's, 275's. Thanks.

I was going to wait until my tires need to be changed before going to the 275s. Seems like the best way since you can't really get what the tires are worth on craigslist.

I bought my 275 KO2's with a recent sale that was posted here.....Paid $635 shipped to my door + mounting/balancing ect.

I sold my used Nitto stockers on Craigslist for $500.00, and they were gone the next day....Sold to the first guy that inquired, and had a lot of interest after they were sold before I deleted the ad. I probably could have gotten a bit more.

It was definitely one of my favorite additions, and I feel it was well worth the cost difference!

I had about 8K on them....The small increase in size, the more aggressive sidewall and tread pattern ect. won me over. For me it was between the K02's and the Cooper St/Maxx.

Anyone in the San Antonio know a good place who won't charge an arm and a leg to install the toytec kit? Had a place order it but they can't compress the springs and didn't want to pay another place $75 to do that one part.

What was the reason of swapping the front shocks?

Also do you have any rubbing with the 34's ?

I'm getting ready to do this install soon, hopefully this weekend. I will do my best to do a step by step instruction post with pics, if I have a free hand. I am doing it with a buddy, so hopefully I can get you all some good stuff to do and not to do, stay tuned.

I just received my Toytec lift kit and wheel spacers. My plan in to run this setup until I need new tires and then upgrade to a bigger tire, with or without the spacers. Unfortunately I won't have it installed until next Wednesday, but the good news is I'll have the Rocky Road Supersliders, Baja Rack, and Gobi ladder installed before then.

What was the reason of swapping the front shocks?

Also do you have any rubbing with the 34's ?

No rubbing with the Bilsteins set at 2.5". No other mods were required however this might change once I get UCAs. I foresee it rubbing against the front bumper if I push out the caster any further, so I might need to trim the bumper a little more (where it is already trimmed from the TRD models) or raise it to a full 3" lift.

I wanted more of a lift and didn't want to run spacers, hence the reason for the swap. I misspoke and these were swapped for 6112s. The Bilstein 6112 are identical in terms of shock body, piston size, and possibly valving to the TRD shocks, but gives you added lift due to the extra retainer positions.
