Never had the clunk issue. Didn't even know there was an issue with it. What size tires are those and how is the ride?

Clunk issue seems to be temperature dependent below 50 or 45 F. I got my TRD back in November of 2014 and in the cold winter of MD it felt like knuckles cracking underneath over short, sharp bumps. bolts and items up front were all checked to make sure they weren't loose so it's not that something is coming off. Most of the complaints are from TRD Pro owners in the colder regions.

That is right. There is a whole thread on it. Probably not much of an issue if you live in LV. It's not the Billies since I have the same ones and the clunk is gone. It could have been the sway bar connectors too.

Do you rub on lower body point with rear wheels on compression?

No rub in the rear under full articulation. I have 1 1/4" spacers too. I had to remove the front Mud flaps. they Rubbed on full lock. No more rub after delete.

285/75/17 Rides a little noisier than the stock Nitto's and a bit heavier but overall the ride is good since the front struts are no pre-loaded and the geometry pretty much the same as stock.

Do you plan on getting an alignment just to be safe, or do you feel it is not needed with this install?

I just got my kit delivered this morning, and will hopefully have it installed by this weekend!

I honestly think I don't need an alignment. I have been keeping an eye on if it drifts at all in any way, and it does not. Both on street and freeway, it is 100% straight. I can let go of the steering wheel for 10 seconds or longer on some stretches of the highway.

You remove the old thin one...

And replace it with the toytec version...

It slides right off and the new one slides right in.

Any mods to the alignment required?

How does it ride now that you've run it for a while. My kit just showed up on the dock at work today. I changed tires to LT Trail Grapplers and stiffened up the ride already [emoji53] so curious how the Toytec affects it.

No. Did nothing but take out the old, put in the new.

Took it out for some different terrains a few days ago... couldn't be happier. To be honest, I think they should have come from the factory just like this.

The TRD PRO should have sat like this from the factory. Without the Spidertrax 1.25 wheel spacers and 3/4 toytec front spacer.

So all you have are the 3/4" front spacers? How tough was the install? Did you have to get an alignment?

Went out and played around with the kit on the flats as well as speeding down some bumpy dirt roads on the way back from my photoshoot today... I was very impressed with the suspension and noticed almost no difference between the original and afterward with the kit. I even caught some air when i wasn't expecting it.... it was awesome. I don't have any pictures or video of all that, but here are a few before I dirtied her up....

I've got 38 in front and 40 in the rear after the kit.

So you still have 2" rake? I thought I saw on the Toytec site that it levels it as well. Although it also says it lifts 2" up front and 2" in back. I might have misread it. I'm on the fence with this kit. I don't plan to go with bigger tires until these are ready to be replaced. But, I like how yours looks with the stockers....What to do, what to do?
