Are you sure you are not talking about 265/70's on your current setup..the stock tires the PRO comes with?
Hard to believe you have 285's on a stock setup w/o some chopping.
If you misspoke and you have the 265's, I ran 285/70's w/no issues at all when I had the kit

That rake absolutely drives me nuts with the toytec kit and its the only reason why I've been so hesitant on buying the kit. I did a 1 inch spacer from cornfed up front to match the factory rake (still a slight rake) but I've been talking to Dave at cornfed and he says he can make any custom size spacer to accommodate any type of rake. Im looking to order the SAW rear springs, installing them and then taking measurements so that Dave can make me the right size front spacers. All in all, it'll be about the same price as the toytec kit.
Looks pretty damn good to me !! But I'm old .:fishing: Mine is slightly ass high which drives me nuts & I mean VERY slightly !!!:boom:

I don't know what other people are seeing, but if I saw this truck I would honestly think "that looks nice! I wonder what he has loading down the back?"
Is this "leaned back" look really what people are going for?
Btw, Burtman Industries is offering their spacer lifts in custom dimensions. If you order the 2/1 kit, and in the notes put "TRD Pro - 1.5" rear," they will send you components to that spec! I ordered a full 2/2 setup for my TRDP because I don't mind the factory rake want want to set myself up for better performance and sag resistance when loaded up with gear.

Okay, so I love the way the Toytec lift looks, and I'm really considering pulling the plug on it + the spidertrax spacers. But from what I'm now understanding, is that if I plan on adding a SSO bumper in the future, the toytec lift may not be the way to go because of the decrease in ride quality?
Does anyone have a heavy bumper with the Toytec TRDP lift that can attest or argue?

Were you still able to get alignment within factory specs with Burtman's 2/2 or 2/1.5 kit on a TRD Pro? I wasn't sure if that amount of extra front lift while keeping the factory UCAs would create any alignment issues?

Still waiting for it to come in the mail. However, being effectively 3" of lift over a non Pro, it will likely be at the ragged edge. I will post an update for sure, though!
I bit the bullet and ordered one of Burtman's 2/2 kits today. Should be here at the beginning of next week. Definitely post results once you've got yours installed and---most importantly--aligned!
I've had the TRD Pro Toytec lift on since November 2015, and still going strong, no problems...
I would really like the front up another 1/2 inch or so, but when it's loaded up, it's perfect.
Looks good---are those stock size tires?

Every vehicle is different, with that said, I am running the BFG kO 2's in the 34X10.5X17's flavor with no rub, no spacers and no Trimming......
Some vehicles it will work and some it won't, there is no 100% when you start upsizing... You just have to pick a size and see. Most tires stores will test fit for free. IE Discount Tire is one.

Thanks for the reply. 34's...damn I've read all the threads on it but the only pics I see are on flat ground. I think I can get the 285's on with the toytec kit from what I've read. Some say no problem, others a slight rub while in reverse at full lock, but no mention of flexing it through trails. Also from what I gather the only thing that raises your lowest point is tire size. So all the 285's would get me is an inch more clearance?

It depends on what brand of tire you buy...BFG's run small and I banked on that. I prefer the skinny tire look... BFG says my 34's are actually 33.5.. I say they were 33.25 unmounted on the vehicle.
I had some Toyo AT 2's in the 285x75x17 and there was no way they were going to fit....Almost 34's....
Also, if you mean gain an inch, do you mean an inch in axle clearance? If our 4R's have 31's, you need to go to a 33's theoretically to gain an inch in axle clearance. It really depends on whose tire you're buying.

Yes thanks again, the Nitto RG is 32.76 according to their site. The tires would give almost an inch of axle clearance while the lift would give body clearance of 2". So my front skid would be 2+1" up and my rear diff would be up 1" if I understand all this correctly. Lots of TRDP's running 285's, just not a lot of flex pics or talk.
