TRD Pro Quicksand Picture Thread

Like many others, I am in the market for a TEP or TRD Pro 4runner. I'm starting this thread as a resource for pictures of Quicksand 4Runners only for owners to show off and potential buyers to make an informed decision. I think this color can look great... it's up to Quicksand owners to show us what you got!

And let's get these all out of the way now:

Baby poo... beige... boring... looks better on a FJC/Taco/Tundra... fugly... TuRDPro...

Ok. Great. Now that that's over.

Here's some pics (not mine) to get things started:

I personally like the color, doesn't bake in the sun like mag grey, doesn't show dirt like the mag grey and white. But it really is a personal choice at the end of the day. Here's mine,

And last but not least my truck next to my father in laws mag grey. Mine was just driven over 1200 miles (Alabama to El Paso). His was just pulled out of a garage.

Not too shabby looking if I do say so myself

I am a big fan of the color. Personally, I think mag gray looks better stock but with mods, quicksand looks like it belongs on the battlefield and looks mean. With that said, if I was going to go TRD pro, i would hold off for the cement as it is more my style. Either way, I don't think you can go wrong with it, though you may have a tougher time selling the quicksand than you would a mag gray or white because some buyers may not love the color. It is all personal preference. Good luck and post pics once you get it!

Love my Stormtrooper. But if was buying now would go cement. Sand I like and want to see in the wild, just not for me as a DD.

Looks close to an old LC color. The color is scare at the moment but if I would find one I would have the roof painted white like the old LC the grey color rims would also look better to me than the black.

I think the way it hides being dirty [by being the same color as dirt] is pretty appealing. The black roof rack really helps balance out the wheels and window trim as well. Thanks for the pics!

Toyota had a great opportunity to black out parts of the bumper, door handles, fender flares, and mirrors...

But they screwed up.

Thanks for the tag mattbookpro. I do need to get some more pics posted. Truth be told, though, most of the time I'm driving to work in my Pro, wearing a suit. I'll get some "in the wild" pics up soon. Absolutely zero regrets getting the quicksand. Only one other quicksand in town. Definitely nice to have something unique.

Here is my TRD PRO Quicksand - Love the Color

I liked the color from the beginning but seeing it in person is really what sealed the deal. Off road custom pin striping won't show up as bad on the color. At the end of the day just personal preference. I obviously love it.

Has anyone seen one with black flares?

Curious if anyone's dipped the flares and posted.

South Texas Quicksand here. Did I talk to one of you Texas gentlemen in the San Antonio, Bass Pro Shop parking lot last month? You had a Gobi w/ ladder, and light bar, said you'd drove out of state to get your Quicksand.

Here's a picture of my '14 Trail (trade-in), and my new quicksand last December.

Quicksand From LA.

Fell in love with this color online on a Friday.
Checked it out on Sunday when it was already on hold.
Went off of hold Monday and I drove it away on a Tuesday.

You can see the photos, after and before. Just installed the Toytec 2" lift, spacers up front and new coils in rear. Feels much better having that RTT up top.
Looks pretty cool, if I do say so myself.

Nice, what front bumper is that?
