TRD Pro vs Method NV wheels

Hey guys,

I'm divided between the TRD Pro and the Method NV wheels. I've got a set of 265/70/17 Duratracs and wondering which wheels to put them on. I know that the TRDs are 7 in width which might be an issue if I decide to go with 285 one day but the NVs are 8.5 which is right at the limit of the Duratracs that I have right now which didn't seem to be a problem from what I read online but still... Does anyone have any experience with 265 tires on 8.5 wheels ? I'm open to suggestions on other wheels as well but those two are the primary candidates for right now. Also if there is anything else that should be put into consideration in regard to which wheels should I go with please mention it.

You might already know, but FN wheels sells an ƒ(x) Pro wheel identical to the TRD ones but at 8" wide/ less weight/ and more color selections. I have method nv's on my 4runner with 265/65/17's. I haven't had any issues what so ever. I like the TRDs, but like the stance you get with the method nv's.

Looks like people have been able to put on the TRD hubcaps on those FN wheels. Which might just have helped me with my decision . I couldn't find them online. Do they only take order by phone ?

Those look good too. Pretty similar to the Method NV but way cheaper.

the TRD PRO wheels are in the same page towards the middle

Yeah I saw that. I think i'll go ahead and order a set of semi-matte or matte gun metal if they've got those and use the hubcaps from toyota of dallas.

Anybody know of good set of lock lug nuts , preferably black ?
