Trd SC boost gauge question

Does the stock trd black face.boost gauge supposed to light up at night or when the dash lights up? I bought my 4runner recently but the host gauge doesn't light up its hard to tell if i'm boosting or not, any help thanks

Either the light is out or you aren't connected to the dash lights circuit..

Pull the gauge out of the pod and first look at the bulb. Then follow the wires coming out of the bulb and see where they go.

Hard to tell? You cannot hear that sweet sweet whine?

Yeah I can hear it what I meant is like how many lbs is boosting I love looking at the needle move back and forth between vac and boost and now that the sun goes down at 5 pm I cant see it, any write up on how to fix this issue ?

Grab the ring around the gauge and pull it out. Pull out the bulbs, and see if they're burnt out.

Where is the gauge mounted?

just ran out there pulled it out the pod and the bulb is burned out, do yall know what kind of bulb is it ?

Its mounted on the pillar where most gauges go I dont have any other ones so I have place any other gauges.anywhere else

I am 98% sure it's just a 194 bulb.

Pull it out and take it to your local auto parts store, they'll hook you up.
