TRD Tacoma suspension question, what do I need???

A while back I bought some front shocks/struts and springs from a guy that took them off of his trd sport Tacoma, but they didn't come with strut mounts or bearings. I've been doing some searching but I can't seem to come up with a solid answer. Does anyone know what all I need (parts wise) to complete the strut assembly? I've been on a few Toyota parts websites but trying to decipher what I do and don't need is another story. I know I'll need mounting plates with the studs, but it looks as though there are multiple nuts, possibly bearings and even isolators or other rubber components

So the problem is I don't know if a 4th gen strut top will work... I assume it will; but the Tacoma seems to have different part numbers than the 4Runner in that respect (despite previous threads saying that it is bolt-in, so perhaps it's close enough?)

My guess would be to order whatever bolt-on/goes over the strut from the spring up. Which will be bushings, a top plate, bolts, ect.

(I'd also wire brush those threads, they look nasty...)

It's called a strut mount at the auto parts store. I had to get them when I put my Tacoma struts on. I got them at oreillys for about $40 a piece. They come with all the necessary hardware too install them

Oh...I got the Tacoma ones just to be safe. They do mount up just fine on our 4Runners

yeah, he said they were 10k mile take offs but I don't know about that. I work on Nissan's and there are only a few parts that go on above the spring (mounting plate, bearing and iso) but when researching the Tacoma and
4runner parts, there seems to be a lot more. I was about to just find a diagram that separates and lists all the parts and just buy two of everything shown above the spring. I just didn't want to buy parts I wouldn't need

Yea...it's a kit with all you need to mount it. You'll need 2 kits

sweet. I knew they could be had in kits but couldn't find any listings for them. I usually try and get oem parts for my vehicles nut (for fitment reasons and more importantly, quality) but I'm sure aftermarket strut mount kits aren't too bad. And hey, at least they're easy to replace

just looked them up on their site, they're KYB and $28 a piece. Checked compatibility for that part number and it says it'll work for '03-'09 4Runners so that's a plus. Thanks for you help felles, time to get these parts on!
