TRD Update

It's way waaaay less exciting than that. I'll just say that it brings things in line with some of the other models in terms of OEM components, add another component, and has parity in regards to how Toyota outfits some of their vehicles in their other global market segments.

So they are getting a sunroof?

I can't contain my excitement.

While I personally like the changes coming, I’d be just as happy with an ‘18. I saw a cavalry blue pro at the local autoshow last week. Many regrets not ordering one.

Sounds about right, you don’t want to update that 15-year-old drivetrain that’s rattling around in these things.

I wonder if Jeep quality has gone up enough that I can live with a Wrangler for for four to five years without wanting to set it on fire.

Interesting contrast of the sales decline on the 4th gen as it got older vs increase in sales with 5th gen aging, especially once it got a facelift in 14'

I think 2008 and 2009 sales had something to do with what they called the "Great Recession." You know, when GM and Chrysler went bankrupt, Saab, Pontiac, and a few others ceased to exist. Do you remember that?

It's probably just the sunroof and Entune 3.0. Power liftgate would be a big change and auto climate would change the controls in non-Limited models.

This will probably be the *highlight* of changes

My simple view... Why would toyota be in a rush to put the 6th gen to market with 5th gen sales numbers increasing yearly

Probably just the angle of the light / camera / resolution / who cares, but looks like a white fog light in the 4R so maybe factory LED fog in 4R. Safety Sense is a great guess, or even just like a blind spot monitor like the Tacoma got (still bitter).

I’d just rather wait and see than sit and be disrespectfully teased about some small change to a fantastic vehicle.

We were just posting at the same time but yes the 4Runner appears to have LED fog lights. Maybe the AUER LED 2 into 1 DRL that has been a port installed option from Southeast Toyota is now standard on the TRD Pro's?
