TRDPro Immediate Factory tire replacement; who did and what tires?

I have some Nitto Terre-Grappler EXO tires on another vehicle I like and was thinking of trading in the factory tires immediately for these or KO2s. Mostly due to snowflake rating, although this year we only got 2 inches of snow!
Did you change the tires or keep factory ones, and if so, which did you put on. Planning on staying factory size and not lifting.

Not a TRDP but I switched out the OEM Bridgestones for some BFGs right off the bat. Discount tire gave me $250 for all 5 which more than covered the whee/tire swaps I had them do that day. The Nitto terra graps are a better tire than I started out with but the EXOs look really nice. So far, I'm impressed with the traction of the Ridge Grapplers.

Most people are not dumb. Since the last post on a TRDPro specific tire question, there have been an uncounted number of new TRDPro vehicles added to the consumer market. Things do change, and yes, thank you, I have learned to search in my small amount of time on Earth ...and read the entire TRDPro thread....and read tire specific threads. Forums are for specific questions like this in order to get a variety of opinions and experiences.
If you are a mod and want me to delete the post I will certainly do so.

I really like the EXOs but they do wear a bit quickly and develop a good bit of sound. Very good IME for snow.

Not really sure what the TRDP part has to do with it... It's just a rim and tire combo on what is for the most part a stock truck with a low perch 6112.

Personally I hate the idea of throwing away fresh tread, but if you want a change, change it to whatever makes you happy.

I like the KO2, I like the KM2, I like the Michelin ltx m/s2 which is now replaced by the defender. Solid snow traction on the Michelin, amazing road feel and comfort... probably one of my favorite road tires even over the KO2. Not as sexy, but I dont buy tires because of looks.

What I don't like about the KO2, or any other tire made of beef, is the unsprung weight.

I don't own 1 pair of shoes and I dont think my truck should either... I have two sets these days, road tires, and off-road tires. You could also consider some summer and winter tires and use what you already have until you actually have an immediate need for winter shoes.

I asked TRDPro because it comes with different, somewhat aggressive tires than the other trim levels. The other trims would be a given IMO, but I haven't seen the tires on the TRDpro and was wondering what others that had purchased that trim level with the semi aggressive tires were doing.

Yeah, the weight always takes a hit in fuel mileage but I can't stand the idea of pulling off the road in a 40K 4 wheel drive truck and getting stuck, which happened to my wife in a Dodge 4 wheel drive. Plus I do like snow rated tires.

I have thought about summer/winter tires and that makes a lot of sense, but I am too lazy to change them around, and where i live it can be 80 one day and snowing the next.

It's a 4runner dude....with the same size tires except the Limiteds....so, yes, most people are dumb...
