New tires showed up today! These are the Treadwright Sentinels in 265/75s. As you can see they are on Bridgestone sidewalls. I also got the additional Kevlar Grip

Getting insalled tmrw!

I expect them to do well based on what I've seen on a bunch of my FJ club members but I'll put them through the paces and report back.

As for warranty 2yr/24000

Those Guard Dogs are nice! Almost went with them as I've personallyseen them in action but elected for something milder since I highway it alot.

And yea I paid $400 plus shipping. Like $320 if you don't get the kevlar.

Hey Volley whats up! I keep meaning to stop by this thread everytime i'm on here, but I keep forgetting. I'm lost on these tires. I've never heard of these. You say they're TW Sentinels, on Bridgestone sidewalls...

I've never heard of these things, what you got on :D

BTW, got any new pics with the new shoes :artist:

Hey Realtor!

Treadwrights are retreaded (recycled) tires. They basically take used tires, skim, wrap then retread them...that's a very very basic rundown of the process. Then if you want you can also get the tires with their Kevlar Grip which is a crushed glass and walnut shells mixture they add to the rubber for additional grip. Took a couple of quick shots when I got to work this morning. My initial impression is that they feel great on the road, very smooth. A very slight hum on road that I actually had to turn off my talk radio station to hear. Haven't driven in any elements yet so will see on that. Will work on better pics later but here are some quick shots:

I have run these before. I got one that wouldn't balance and they sent me a new one no problem. They didn't even want the bad one back so I used it for a spare. I ran them almost bald. Can't remember what I got for miles on them tho.
