Trimming Coil Springs

Hey guys,
I bought a set of LX450 springs and I didn't realize until after the fact that they are going to be a bit to much lift for me. :redbrick: I was hoping that someone would want to trade me these for a set of LC 7.5 wraps, but its not looking good. My question is this......would it be possible to cut the springs down to the height I need?

Dont cut your springs. Try taking out the rubber cone bump stop to lose half an inch.

Thanks Ripcord, I'll crawl under tomorrow and take a look to make sure I'm clear on your suggestion. I was under the impression you had to leave the bump stops in place. This lift stuff is all new to me. I have been acquiring the pieces for the Tundra/LC lift. All I need at this point is the Bilstein adjustables, the differential drop, and the panhard drop. Toytec will be hearing from sometime soon!
