Tring to hook up my fan to be tripped by AC switch

What do i hook it up to. There is a AC relay under the dash but is there something else i can use to trip the system, Preferably under the hook. Thanks

You could pull it directly off of the ac clutch, but then it would cycle when the defrost is on.

thats what i was trying to do but i couldnt find where to tap in

If thats what you want there is a single wire that runs to the AC compressor. That is what actually engages the AC. I think you would be better off tapping off of the relay inside or even the switch so that the fans don't cycle when the defrost is on. are you just not sure which wire on the relay to tap into?

I want the fan to come one with the defrost as well. When ever the AC compressor is enguaged, i want the fan on.

Like i said on the AC compressor itself is the trigger wire for the AC clutch. It will be a positive 12v signal though. You would need to run this through a relay anyway, so you can change the polarity if your fans are set to run off of a negative trigger.

it is off the +12. where is the relay?
