Trnasfer cas shifter

Has anyone bent their transfer shifter to a different angle? I want to take mine towards the automatic shifter, so it doesn't poke my right leg as much. Is there room to do this or does someone have a different approach?

I had to bend and lengthen mine for the body lift on my taco.


Easy enough. remove shifter, put in vise, heat and bend.

That was my plan, but I was curious if others have done and since I have not had this in 4Lo yet, I was also curious if there was room between the two shifters to move it towards the center of the console.
