Trouble adjusting headlights

I cant seem to get the passenger headlight any lower. I just installed HID’s today in the low beams and I’m using an 8mm rachetting wrench to lower the lighting. I Had no problem with the drivers side although it takes quite a bit of turning to make adjustments. Has anyone else had trouble lining up the lights?

Are you using a ratchet on the backside? Supposed to use a Phillips from the topside.

I read you can use either. I’ll try that

I use a ratcheting wrench on both sides. Works good.

Either way ends up turning the same internal pieces.
Do you feel like something is stuck or just won’t turn anymore?

It turns but does not move the light. I was turning it until I heard a loud noise like something released? And after that the light hasn't moved much

I’m gonna guess that something is broken or undone

Those gears are very weak. Sounds like it broke.
