I realize how old the software is but I have always been able to embed a YouTube video until just recently.

It's not working for me either. I can insert a link to a YouTube video but it doesn't insert the video here in my post, that I can see. Do you have to submit the reply in order for that to happen, usually?

I recently noticed that when I post a reply to the forum I have to refresh my browser in order to see my post. That hasn't happened before maybe a month ago, or so.
Forum software: vBulletin 3.8.11
Release date: August 3, 2016
PHP compatibility: 7.x.x.
PHP current: 8.5.5
Older websites start breaking at some point. It's just how things go, as web browsers and server-side stuff get updated.
It's unreasonable to expect the site to just keep working as-is, unfortunately.

I'm also having that issue as well, just noticed it in the last 2 or 3 weeks.
Also I have to keep refreshing to get a forum section to show I have already viewed all the recent posts, when I go to a forum section and back to the main page or vice versa.

As I stated, I know all about this software, things are not working as they were just a month or so ago, and I haven't update anything on my computer in over 9 months, so my browser is still the same, settings are changing on this forum and since the software can't be updated it's from someone trying to tweak the forum settings to try and make an old horse work better and it ain't working.
