Trouble getting above 70mph

I had a check engine light on for some time. Just recently fixed it and it was my up strea O2 sensor. Replaced it and the light is gone, but now I seem to have an issue getting up past 70mph. I accelerate great up to 70, but it seems to just die out there. If I push the peddle more I hear what sounds like allot of air being sucked in the intake, but no change in accleration. If I push more on the gas, i down shift and then start to pull forward, but not to good.

Just a few months ago I know I didnt have this issue because I found my self crusing down the freeway and looked down at the speedo and was doing 85 like it was nothing.

Any Ideas what it might be? I hooked a pressure gauge up the the O2 sensor port to check if anything was clogged, but the gauge barley moved. It more or less fluttered a tad at idle, but did nothing at 2500rpm. I dont even think it got over a half a pound.

Anyone got any ideas?

Maybe....remove the ecu fuse or disconnect the battery for like 5 minutes to reset the ECU...that might reset the fuel/air mixture that the engine is using and help...kind of out there but its a cheap and easy first step.
