TRS Apollo 2.0 Shrouds and Halos - fit issue?

According to TRS, Panorama 2.0 shrouds use 110 mm rear halos. That’s what I got, but for the life of me can’t fit them all the way inside the shroud, even after filing off the 3 little tabs. Is there something I am missing or is the halo / shroud supposed to be filed further with a Dremel?

Can you see the halos where they are from the front side? If so can you just leave them there? Maybe a 100mm would have been better.. I have 100mm inside my projectors but I also have different shrouds :/

So halos are a PIA that's why I don't recommend them.

It looks like the Halo does fit in the shroud just fine based on your picture. It is "in" there.

So halos are a PIA that's why I don't recommend them.

Sorry man, I forgot to mention that I did major trimming on my shrouds just to get the plastic panorama to fit inside the 4runner headlight housing. I had to cut a huge chunk of the bottom shroud plastic (both solid and clear) with a Dremel. Taped it then cut it.

I am pretty sure they are 110mm Amber (not switchable) from TRS. Since discontinued.
