Truck lift for your lifted truck

So I've only done a quick search but wanted a more recent option. Now that I have a 3 inch lift installed on my truck, I want a lift I can carry around with me in case I get a flat. I've heard that hi-jack lifts will not work on 4runner if it doesn't have either sliders or mod bumpers. So for those that have a lift installed minus the sliders or bumpers, what lift did you purchase. I know you can still use the factory lift on either a cinder block or 2x6 etc, but it seems like unnecessary stuff to carry around just for emergency purposes.

I run 265/70/17 and used the stock jack for the rear. Never needed/thought about trying it for the front. I put it under the axle housing.
I haven't really looked for one either.

You can use a hi lift without sliders or bumpers. Buy a Wheel Mate, or just loop a sturdy ratchet strap around the tire.

How about a floor jack?

For shop use, get a floor jack. Much safer than anything else.

Also get a pair of heavy duty jack stands (the tall, 6 ton kind, $50-60 at Harbor Freight or Autozone). They'll be tall enough to support the frame with your wheels off the ground and suspension at full droop. Again, you need these for safety.

For trail use, use the Wheel Mate to lift the flat tire with the Hi-Lift. Then bring along one of your jack stands to support the frame while you change the tire. Then use the Hi-Lift/Wheel Mate again to remove the jack stand and you're good to go.

Sure it's a bit of messing around, but it's safe.

No, you're right. Like Ron says, I carry a small jackstand.

I also carry a Bushranger exhaust lift, which is another option, though it costs a little more.

I love mine. Much more stable than a hilift, and less effort to boot. Make sure you don't have an exhaust leak, and if you do then make sure you're carrying a legit air compressor. The Bushranger won't work if you have any kind of exhaust leak, and small compressors don't have the grunt to lift a heavy truck.
