Watched this video today, apparently put out by Kobe's people. I grew up watching Michael Jordan, he was always my favorite. I've never been a fan of Kobe's, always seemed cocky and whiney. What do you guys think?

To me, MJ is the greatest ever...at least so far. Kobe's close, but not at the same level.

I would agree with the above statement. Kobe is better than Lebron, but he has also had better teamates throughout his career than both MJ and Lebron.
 
They are all great players Lebron being one of the best. But I'm my opinion I think D Rose is the most humble and is very talented. I'm just saying that because I'm from Chicago I'm staying it because he is just too good.
 
Let's just say that if I could pick anyone to be on my Thursday night league team MJ is still my first pick and I have watched both of their entire careers.

I'd agree with this. Everything I've heard about Rose is that he's a real good dude. One of my biggest pet peeves (especially in sports athletes) is cockiness and arrogance. MJ, Kobe and LeBron are three of the most arrogant guys around (not that they're alone). But on pure player? No discussion until someone else averages a triple double over the whole season ala Oscar Robinson.
 
ID pick MJ over KB any day of the week. Right now i would have to say Lebron is the best player in the NBA. Derek Rose just doesnt have that killer instinct maybe in a few years he will. Shaq was a beast when he was in his prime and dont forget about Wilt Chambelian.
 
Good thing we're talking about a lil bit older Kobe. If you rewind time just 5 yrs ago I would put Kobe in center court, roll a ball out to him and dare any man on the planet to challenge him. Absolutely no one had the full game that he had then. Jordan was the man when he had the ball, but his defense wasn't in Kobe's league and Lebron's isn't either.

Kobe is and was always an absolute assassin offensively. His defense is his most overlooked skill. Best all around guy in his prime in IMO. He doesn't get the pitty-pat calls Jordan got either.

Kinda reminds me of when Steven Segal called Van Damme out on a late night show and invited him to a fight and straight up told him he would whup his ass...Van Damme didn't say a word to him. Segal reminded everyone Van Damme was a ballerina and was a TV martial artist and that he was the real deal.

Stats are one thing, attitude is another. MJ had a great attitude and the skills to back it up. The players these days are c0cky as he!!

Gotta agree with this, MJ was class all the way on the court. Off the court and welllllll......... he got caught up cheating like Kobe did. HAHAHA. Sorry, I had to say it.
