That aftermarket sunroof looks very well installed. I didn't know (I'm sure not all of them) you could install drain tubes. I thought they only came from the factory. Anyway, I would've tucked the tube out of the way, that's looks to "flobby" just to stay there in the wheel well.
Too bad our sunroofs are mostly hated on this forum. When they break, they are big money to repair (dealer or otherwise). SO FAR, seems to be the consensus that if you keep them lubed (maintained), then problems shouldn't occur. I love my sunroof, in fact, if a car/SUV doesn't have one, I don't even look at them.
Hey CookieRoe, I have 105k on my T4R and no problems, so far, with my sunroof. That being said, I have NEVER lubed it. What, exactly, do I lube to prevent problems down the road? I would die... er, I mean I would be VERY upset if I had a problem with it. PLEASE ADVISE!!!!!
Understood. Sunroofs are a must-have for me. I think they're the best of both worlds. If it gets too hot, I close it and turn on the A/C. :thumb:Yeah, for me, I think I'll forgo attempted to add a sunroof. The roll down back window provides a certain airflow that works great! Minus the sun beating down on your forehead. Trying to think positive here peeps!
...and Daren, yeah, that's my plan. Clazzios with seat heaters. I cannot wait!
I use white lithium grease. This is what Toyota uses and it works fine. Some have mentioned it dries up. Mine is still good to the touch.
