tundra 5100/taco/eibachs WHAT PERCH YOU RUN

Added a vote towards tundra 5100s with eibachs on the second perch..
started off stock bumper no skids on first perch and even then I didn't get a full 3"

Switched to 2nd perch and got full 3" but rode a bit rough in my opinion..
After adding a bumper and skids its gotten better..

This sounds like my experience thus far. I installed them on the first perch and pulled my winch and bumper when I didn't get to 3" to see if that was the problem. Didn't help. I need to move them up I guess. Sounds like it wold help with the rake I have from the LC springs in the rear.

I'm guessing these pics are intended for different coils and not eibachs.

Correct. Bilstein designs all the 5100's to work with stock springs.

I put my Eibachs on the first perch of the Tundra coils after researching and reading the cautions against any higher perches. I got a full 3" but I was swapping out original shocks and springs that were pretty sacked out, so that factors into my measurement a bit.
