Tundra Brake Kit Upgrade from Ebay? 292$ Shipped!

Front Brake Calipers Drilled Slotted Rotors Ceramic Pads Covers Left and Right | eBay

What do you guys think? I was just looking into what I need to do the upgrade on my 98, and this kit came up. To me it seems like a good deal, I am just not familiar with the brand. Anyone use this yet?

Also, I have a set of MB Motoring Rims, 16 inch that were bough a number of years ago from Discount from the previous owner. They are no longer made by MB Motoring, as Discount Tire lost one of my wheel caps. I want to use these calipers and rotors (231mm) but I am not positive they will fit under the rims. I know I will need to do trimming on the dust cover, no problem, but I hate to buy new rims.

This price includes an 80$ core charge as well. so actuall price is 212 minus shipping back!

Its a god deal.. I ordered calipers from them.. Took 2 months to get the core return back.. with continuous emails. I had to threaten escalation with ebay.

If I did not follow through I doubt they would return the core.

So aside from being a pain to return the cores, were you happy with the product? Did it seem like they were quality and well built??

Sure.. I mean they are not brembos.. The powder coat was not perfect, it had a couple nicks/cracks where the pads seat, but I was Ok with it.. Im sure it was due to prepping issue before the powdercoat. I just dont like going back and forth with the emails... Their ad says core charge are returned 7 days after its received.. That is a total lie.

I just bought the calipers from them, not the kit.. I order brembo rotors and bendix ceramic pads separate.

It appears that the question was asked on Amazon if they are the 13WL (231's) and the reply was yes. Granted that gives me ZERO comfort that it is true.

Holy schnikes! Apparently they are made by Power Stop. Don't know if that's good or bad, but it's pretty funny that they bought the rights to Callahan.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. The website also said it was a 13WL.

I'll be ordering that in a couple of weeks. I just hope they send a sticker. I already have the Tshirt.

So you essential stole from them. Expecting a core back for shipping them calipers that weren't the same model as the they shipped you is stealing.

How do expect this seller to succeed if he is offering this package when he needs the right core back so he can R&R and re-sell on Ebay.

The cores are returned and they go through an inspection process.. By a supplier.. They intake many cores from many different makes and models. I returned many cores while working in the auto industry. And was told they just need a complete core. Ask the seller yourself before you make judgement.
