Took a couple measurements to determine the clearance between my Tundra calipers and the inside of my 16" wheels.
Looks to be about 3/8"...

The distance from the rotor to the inside of the wheel is just under 3" (looks like 2-7/8")...

So, the distance from the rotor face to the outer dimension of the Tundra caliper is 2.5". Since the hub of the rotor is 1-7/8" from the rotor face, the distance "A" in the chart above (caliper overhang from outer hub surface) is 5/8".
So, if the inside surface of your wheel is closer than 2.5" to the outer surface of the rotor face or closer than 5/8" to your hub face, the Tundra calipers won't fit w/o modification. Of course, that's the bare minimum, probably want another 1/4" clearance for good measure.
I went right past this and didn't see it. Time for new eyes I guess. Thanks, zcruiser - I tried to extrapolate, since your measurements are with the Tundra rotors and I think I'm going to be cutting my wheels - like it or not. From the outside of the stock rotor to the inside of the disc of the Pacer wheel is about 2¾" and clearance of the stock caliper to the inside of the wheel at the top corner is barely 1/8", so "anything" wider isn't going to fit.
Is it possible to trim the outer edge of the caliper to help with clearance ??
The aluminum in the disc of the wheel in the caliper area is 15/16" thick, so there should be plenty of metal to cut and still be safe. I went to a local machine shop today to see if they can do the work and they referred me to an apparently well-known wheel maker named "Jongbloed" (pronounced Young Blood) who has a shop out by the airport.
Shop's there but he wasn't, so will keep trying. My rotors are badly warped and I want to get going on this pretty soon.
Thanks again
Lar.
